GEDCOM file

GEDCOM file of the Aldridge/Alldredge Line. Updated August 2006. This file contains the known descendants of Ezekiel Alldredge (b. 1757) and of his ancestors with births before 1850. Comments and additions are very welcome. Contributed by Tony Alldredge.

GEDCOM files may be opened into Personal Ancestry File (PAF)*, FamilyTree and several other genealogical programs.

To open in PAF or other genealogical program, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the hyperlink above titled "GEDCOM file of the Aldridge/Alldredge Line"
  2. Save ZIP file to disk (will likely save to your desktop).
  3. Open the file in WinZip and click “Extract”.
  4. Save GEDCOM file to specific location you would like or to your desktop.
  5. Open your genealogical program.
  6. Click on File…Import… and locate the GEDCOM file location you specified on your hard drive or desktop.
  7. Follow the instructions for your particular program.
